Chapter 01

Forestry Mulching

Brush and small woody growth are ground into a chip layer that stays on the lot. Vegetation comes down without a full haul-away.

On a local lot A fencerow in Ringgold or a wooded edge in Chattanooga is a typical fit when the chips can stay and you still want to walk the ground afterward.

Chapter 02

Hardscape Site Prep

Pads, paths, and outdoor hard surfaces need clear, shaped ground before an installer arrives. This is prep only — the finished patio or wall is someone else’s install.

On a local lot A Ringgold backyard or a Chattanooga slope gets opened to the footprint your installer marked, so they start on ready dirt instead of reworking it.

Chapter 03

Site Prep

Clearing and ground prep that leave a lot closer to build-ready — brush off the footprint, and rough grade when that is part of the job.

On a local lot A Dalton homesite or a Chattanooga infill lot usually needs the footprint defined before a pour, a builder, or a fence crew shows up.

Chapter 04

Grading

Shape and level the ground for drainage, a building pad, or access. Rough grade through finished contours, scoped to the plan.

On a local lot Hillside lots and clay soils around Chattanooga hold water in the wrong place. Grading moves that water and gives the next trade a surface they can use.

Chapter 05

Demolition & Hauling

Tear down what has to go and haul the debris off the property so the lot is actually clear for the next phase.

On a local lot An old shed, slab, or pile of material on a Ringgold or Dalton acre is often what blocks the clearing. Haul-away is part of the same scope.

Chapter 06

Land Clearing

Open a wooded parcel for a building footprint, pasture, or a cleaner lot line — only as far as you need it opened.

On a local lot When mulching will not open the woods on a Chattanooga hillside or a Whitfield County tract, clearing takes the growth off the footprint you marked.
